Worry not! We’ve compiled a list of troubleshooting tips to get you back in the action. So as you can see, my Platoon Voice is Num4. So this is my trick which will allow you to use Voice Activation in TS, but automatically mute your mic in TS while you use one of the in-game P2T buttons. Well, one of my outfitmates used voice activation and would manually mute his mic when he wanted to talk in-game, but that can become tedious, especially if you want to say a short phrase. BUT that creates the problem of echoing in both channels when you talk in Planetside because you're using P2T in PS and TS is also picking you up from the Voice Activation, thus you talk in both and create horrible echo However, given the vast amount of talking most of us do in TS, using Voice Activated is much more leisurely. Now of course you can avoid echoing in both TS and the game by using the TS Push2Talk, so you only talk in TS when you want to. TeamSpeak on the other hand, can be set to Push2Talk, Continuous, or Voice Activated. Obviously in Planetside, there is only Push2Talk because that's how it knows what voice channel you want to talk in (Squad, Platoon, Proximity etc). Ok, so, I was curious the other day if I could do something with TeamSpeak.
